California State

The famous, LAX, or Los Angeles International Airport is the largest and most popular airport in California. It has flights coming and going internationally and is the sixth busiest airport in the country. The airport's immense size is made possible because of the support of nearby airports that ferry passengers to and from LAX. With over sixty million passengers annually, it's no wonder they would need a little help. Directly part of the airport are nine terminals named one through eight and then the Tom Bradley International Terminal. The Tom Bradley Terminal is twelve gates long split evenly along the north and south concourses. Not surprisingly, Los Angeles International Airport is the most direct flight reciever and sender in the world as well as over two million tons of freight as of just four years ago.

The size of LAX doesn't concern the average passenger though, since what they care about is how the airport treats individuals. Rest assured, Los Angeles International Airport has you in mind from the moment you see the clerk, to when you depart on your flight. Within the airport is practically a city itself with three Burger Kings across three termincals, several other chain restaurants, and even microbreweries. Passengers have substantial choice in just food when they decide to eat at the airport. It's also worth noting the abundance of Duty Free Shops across six of the airport's termincals, with five in the Tom Bradley terminal alone. A Duty Free shop will sell merchandise at substantially reduced cost to travellers but they must be used before returning from your trip. A Duty Free Store is free of taxes which allows passengers to purchase most highly taxed products like alcohol and tobacco for almost nothing.

Another feature of the Los Angeles International Airport is its unique display of public art. At LAX, passengers can admire any of the prominent art exhibits on display at any time within the airport. From the LAX Pylons, Youth Take Flight Arts Program, 9/11 Art Exhibit, Flight Path Learning Center in the Imperial Terminal, and two others.
